A leading force in motor wholesaling for over 30 years, Schulz Motor Auctions is now the largest licensed dealer-only, privately owned and operated motor auction in Queensland. Our first year of operation, 2001 saw more than 10,000 vehicles sold through auction.

 

Kevin Schulz, the founder of Schulz Group began his motor career in 1967 with six cars in his front yard in Tenterfield, Northern New South Wales.

 

Kevin’s determination saw a rapid growth in the business, that lead to him acquiring the Datsun Dealership in 1968, followed later by the Chrysler Dealership in 1977. 

 

 

 

 

It was in 1986 when Kevin was approached to sell his dealership that he relocated his family to the Gold Coast to set up his wholesale business, and eventually build a prestige car showroom at High Street, Southport. Kevin and his son Andrew remained there for 10 years before selling the business to interstate investors.

 

Schulz Motor Auction was set up in Brisbane with the new purpose built premises, situated on 3 ½ acres at Savage Street, Eagle Farm in 2004.

 

The move was to set them apart from their competitors. With Andrew Schulz at the helm, he controls a 10 strong buying team purchasing vehicles from all over Australia and a total staff of 40.
